In today’s The Gazette I have been fortunate enough to have my submission selected as the Letter of the Week. The letter, about the changing fan-base of the Montreal Canadiens, is below. I will be interviewed by Aaron Rand on Montreal’s CJAD 800 radio this evening at 6:35 EDT (22:35 GMT). I hope you can give it a listen!

Hi deegan stubbs, I’ve just read your article on the 2 different tabs fans and i found it to be very interesting, and i was also privileged to see those early had teams playing in montreal in their earlier years, and i remembers i use to watch a hat game on a saturday night and i knew they were going to win, and they used to win and i enjoyed watching them in the shrine the old forum,I would be enjoying a cold beer with my friends and we would be cheering them on , and they would score, and we were all enjoying it so much. I remember the days when you used to pitch in west mounts windmill league and you really were quite the pitcher, u were in your zone, anyway i have been a tabs fan for so long , now i can watch the game but i realize times have changed, and the team is different, but i do enjoy watching the tabs play, they have a lot of good players and a great goalie, but its like guy lafleur said when the tabs were winning the lord stanley cups, we were spoiled, happy holidays mr stubbs and i really enjoyed your article.
