The domino theory has resulted and even those roads not being worked on have been clogged with traffic. To ease their frayed nerves and high anxiety levels drivers can always turn to the peace of a local church for a few moments respite before once again navigating a world of orange cones. Except ….

  1. The saving grace, if you will, our our local endless construction projects is that they go home at 3pm, after which … the road is open in two directions! Until the next morning, of course. I really think just about ever road of two or more lanes north of DC is under construction. Driving anywhere is really awful. Even going into town for groceries, unless you time it for AFTER then end of the work day, is hopeless. Sometimes, you can’t even get into the parking lots. Oy.
