April Showers, May Flowers, and Ugly Snow

They say that April showers bring May flowers. Well that’s all fine and dandy, but what those April showers really do is clean up all the dirty snow that remains. December’s beautiful fluffy white blanket of snow that is featured on so many greeting cards has by now become piles of ugly, dirty, icy snow. The city is no place for winter! All the urban filth finds its way onto and into the late season semi-melting snow and makes for a scene that will never appear on any greeting card. So with that in mind I present some shots of Montreal snow on this the last day of March. C’mon April showers!

Even the sunrise shining on the windows in the background doesn’t help …
