Montreal Sunrise: Red Rubber Ball


The old saying “Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky in morning, sailor’s warning” (or Shepherd’s delight/warning if you prefer) is often cited. This morning Montreal was awash in a beautiful red sky, yet The Weather Network forecast includes nothing that rates a warning!

But one thing that still holds true is line from the old chart-topper Red Rubber Ball by The Cyrkle, co-written by Paul Simon: The mornin’ sun is shinin’ like a red rubber ball. In fact in the foreground of the photo below you can see the crane that has just placed said red rubber ball in the sky!
