Montrealers who live in or pass through that section of town located west of downtown are in for a very long summer. Work is being carried out on several main arteries, while others have been closed permanently. Here is a link to The Gazette’s Andy Riga’s nutshell version of what to expect and what to avoid.
In the meantime I have taken the liberty of providing the map below. The thick red line is the latest road work site, the other red lines indicate roads that will be impassable due to people scrambling to circumnavigate the construction, sewer replacement and potential bus lanes.
Put simply: just stay home!
I know it has been a very long winter, but with potential traffic snarls such as this, can summer be far off?
