Montreal elects new mayor; is corruption-free municipal politics possible?


Montreal, and many other cities in Quebec, welcomes a new mayor this morning. Yesterday’s election followed months and years of corruption at City Halls around the province that is now being laid bare through a huge commission delving into the problem.

I just wonder if it isn’t the nature of municipal politics to be corrupt. Please take a moment to vote below.
