You can find my interview with baseball inventor Abner Doubleday on Baseball Hot Corner.
With the All-Star break upon us, and the Major League Baseball season at mid-point, I thought it might be interesting to speak with the man who is at the heart of not only every team, but every baseball game played, someone with his finger on the pulse of baseball, to get his take on things; sort of a “State of the Game” interview.
No, not Bud Selig, I interviewed Abner Doubleday, the inventor of the game.
I agree with just about everything Mr. Doubleday said in your interview. It’s good to see that he still has all his marbles (baseballs?). The only point I would disagree with is his stance on Pete Rose. Obviously Mr. D. missed a certain All Star game.
