Montrealers need Morning After Pill – after storm that is

As is the case with all good parties and snow storms, and as Maureen McGovern sang, there’s got to be a morning after. Having received a record 45 cms (18 inches) of snow Montrealers now face the morning after. Unlike a bad hangover that will go away in time and is best treated with sleep, etc., this morning after requires two feats of great effort and skill: first, dig out your car. As can be seen below this may take some time. But the second, and trickier step in the recovery is, having rescued your car from a snow bank, you now have to find somewhere to put it while crews remove the snow from streets. Folks are slowly wending their way up and down streets looking for a place to park that isn’t slated for snow removal (and therefore towing) today. A nearly impossible task. If only someone would create a magic tonic or pill that would make this simpler … that’s it, the Morning After Pill … that’s what we need!
